Two new soundtrack CDs featuring the work of composers Derek Wadsworth and Barry Gray are now available to buy from Silva Screen. Both can be purchased as CDs or as individual mp3 tracks.

The music of Space:1999 Year 2 marks a change in tone from the previous season, with Derek Wadsworth's score characterised by jazzy and all-action pieces. The release contains a booklet containing Wadsworth's own notes.

Wadsworth's predecessor on Year 1 of Space:1999, Barry Gray, is also featured on another new Silva Screen release - Dr. Who & The Daleks + Daleks Invasion Earth 2150 A.D. Produced by AARU Productions in response to the 'Dalekmania' craze of the mid-sixties, the films were scored by Malcolm Lockyer and Bill McGuffie, with Barry Gray providing electronic music and effects.
