Mike Noble to Attend Fanderson Birthday Party

4th July 2011

Mike Noble will be attending Fanderson's 30th Birthday Party in August

Legendary TV21 artist / illustrator Mike Noble and voice artist Shane Rimmer will be attending Fanderson's 30th Birthday Party in Marlowe, Bucks, on Saturday 20th August.

The news was announced on the Fanderson forum earlier last month, and is just another reason why members shouldn't miss out on our big birthday bash. Noble's attendance in particular should delight fans, who were disappointed he could not attend last year's TV21 convention in Bristol. Noble joined the TV Century 21 comic in 1965, illustrating Fireball XL5, before working on the Captain Scarlet and Zero X strips. He also worked on Joe 90 for TV21 (the succssor to TV Century 21) and Space:1999 for Look-In.

Shane Rimmer, the voice of Scott Tracy, was a major hit at last year's convention, where he exclusively launched his autobiography, From Thunderbirds to Pterodactyles.

Ex-Fanderson chairman and writer Chris Bentley will also be present, and will hopefully be rubbing shoulders with some further old faces from the Club. Watch this space...

The full confirmed guest list is:

  • Gerry and Mary Anderson
  • Shane and Sheila Rimmer
  • David Graham
  • Matt Zimmerman
  • Mike Noble
  • David Nightingale
  • Chris Bentley
