The next issue of Fanderson's acclaimed club magazine - FAB 67 - will feature a special interview with Gerry Anderson that explores his vision for remaking Thunderbirds in the 21st Century.
The interview will form part of FAB's regular 'Ask Anderson' series, where members write in with their questions about the producer's life and work.
Members can send their questions on this exciting and emotive subject to the FAB editorial team at fabmail@fanderson.org.uk, or the usual postal address:
Fanderson Committee, PO Box 12, Bradford, West Yorkshire, BD10 0YE
The interview will be printed exclusively in FAB magazine, for Fanderson members. Trust us, this is one you won't want to miss...
If Gerry needed any encouragement or inspiration from Thunderbirds fans, we advise him to take a quick look at Thunderbirds 2010, a fan film that has been 13 months in the making. As you can see, the production is an impressive combination of live action and CGI from independent filmmakers Chris Thompson and Guy Taylor, with the Shane Rimmer providing an off-screen performance as Jeff Tracy!
Although the final edit was only released on Youtube at the end of June, the film has had tongues wagging on the Fanderson Forum for some time now, and it can only be hoped that this will be one of many Thunderbirds productions - fan-based and official - in the years to come! Very well done to all involved from Fanderson...
