Although the Con has not started it has really.

What I mean it that some attendees have started travelling, outfits for the evening have been selected, screenings planned. Guests have prepared presentations and the Con brochure has gone to the printers (and may have come back) plus much much much more that goes into the preparation.

The purpose of this thread is to capture the spirit of the Con - LIVE - before, during and after. Please feel free to post your preparations, what you are doing at the Con and after. Include links to any pictures and videos you may have taken.

Remember there are many thousands of fans world wide who can't make it who will be reading your comments. (18,000 unique visitors to Fanderson webspace each month)

I was thinking of preparing for the Con this week by having a Anderson holiday so I did not listen to any music or watch any episodes the week before the Con. Anyway this all went out the window when I found myself freeze framing a certain episode to check some costume details for my outfit and then the phone rang playing the TB theme!

Well theres an immense list of stuff i should be doing i.e packing, organising, but id much rather launch TB1 out of the pool.

On that note, ill be bringing my cam corder to the event so hopefully i should be able to do a little vlog for all the people who didnt make it.

Well I have no idea what to expect, but I'm pretty darn excited and I'll be bringing my trusty video camera to take a lot of footage to remember the event by.

I've been preparing for my presentation on the pachinko machines. The videos basically speak for themselves, though in Japanese! I was going to sub some clips, but then thought it would distract from all the eye candy on the screen. So I'll just explain whats going on where needed. Thats the plan anyway. I have never done a presentation before, so am a little nervous on the public speaking thing. But I am looking forward to it & meeting everyone who attend.

Drat. Just realised that there are several things I should have done tonight instead of writing UFO stories. Rats! Oh well, I shall get my pics sorted and framed tomorrow, and the transfers ironed onto the tshirts, and the costume organised.. etc etc!
errrr.. don't want to be swamped ... but,,if anyone is not staying at the hotel or nearby hotels, I am willing to let people use my room there to store costumes etc for the party on Saturday so they don't have to leave... please email me though!

I've been checking my route on the AA site. They say it'll take me 3 hrs 15 mins to get there... make that 4 hrs plus with a few stops. And I've charged my camera. For a change.

That reminds me, need more iron on hemming to finish the costume off.

I have been informed the Con brochure is back from the printers and looks FAB. Won't see it myself until I arrive which is not now going to be until Saturday morning :-(

To answer a question that was posted on the Fanderson Yahoo group.

You can register on the day providing there are spaces available on the day which there currently are.

You can actually register on Friday from 2.00 pm

On Saturday and Sunday there will be something going on from 8.30 am until 18.00.

There is a disco on the Saturday night.

Further details of the actual events will be given on arrival.
