geese at Fanderson party

so here is an unusual thread for you.
A few party attendees enquired as to the breed of geese roaming the grounds of the party hotel.
After a little research this afternoon it appears that they are known as Egyptian geese and quite rare to see them in the UK.
No, they won't be going on the sales list.
But....maybe if we ever hold another event there, they might (just might) end up on the menu!!!
