Well just to be a litt;le different, Fireball XL5 followed by Captain Scarlet (1967). Although I liked Thunderbirds it's not a favourite. Actually preferred Stingray.

Ho ho, oh my aching sides!

Anyway i digress, to business:-
  • U.F.O.
  • Captain Scarlet...
  • Thunderbirds
  • NCS
  • Space: 1999
  • Terrahawks

BTW where are all the votes for Twizzle, Torchy, Four Feather Falls, Dick Spanner & Lavender Castle?

That's my top 10. Captain Scarlet is just brilliant - I like the darker feel to the programme. Fireball XL5 is my favourite black and white show with that super theme tune and The Secret Service for its unique blend of Supermarionation and real life. A pity it was only seen in the ATV, Granada and Southern regions.
Since I compiled that list many moons ago I have now acquired in my collection the live action shows but not Space Precinct. So here's my list of favourites:

1 UFO
2 Space:1999 season 1
3 The Protectors
4 Space:1999 season 2

I haven't included Space Precinct basically because I haven't really seen the programme and the DVDs are pretty hard to find on Amazon UK.

Generally I'll watch pretty much all of the Anderson shows, including the really early stuff, although the Protectors didn't do it for me.

My personal top five would be...

1. Thunderbirds
2. UFO
3. Space 1999
4. Captain Scarlet
5. Fireball XL5

Happy New Year all!
