(Release) The sounds of Gerry Anderson’s productions

Since there didn’t appear to be any objections to me posting this in the sound topic I thought I'd go ahead and upload it to Rapidshare.

The sound effects library known as "Cinesound" has been used in many productions during the 60's ending in the early 90's. Many of the sounds were used in Gerry Anderson's productions most notably the explosions.

Contained within you'll find around 999 sounds spanned across various categories. The sounds themselves have been sourced and cleaned up from many films including the Bond films, Alien, Aliens, Top Secret!, UFO, Tugs, Captain Scarlet, Stingray, Thunderbirds and numerous war films of the 60's-70's. (I swear the crane creaks from Half Life 2 were used in an episode of Tugs where a bridge was collapsing in "High Tide" hence why I added them. As clean as some of them may sound they were not sourced from the original master tapes. ***If only they were***

Crediting the Cinesound Effects Library itself would do well in perhaps starting up interest in the library itself assuming people see it in the credits.

IF the Cinesound Effects Library ever becomes commercially available like it once almost did or copyright holders start complaining ect the links shall be removed. By all means share this with other communities to get this in circulation if you wish but rest assured that Fanderson had it first.

The Dog barking is DEFINITELY from UFO - it was Percy Edwards as used in 'The Sound of Silence'

Explosion 10 Types:
Remastered for higher overall sound quality:

Explosion 10 alt 9 with no whistle
Explosion 10 alt 10 slightly different shell explo at beginning
Explosion 10 alt 11 slightly different shell explo at beginning 2

Improved Explosion 10 alt 5, Explosion 10 alt 16 and Explosion 10 alt 21 to use the full proper tail off from one of the “type 10” explosions.

“Jet dive version 2 better sound matching”
Basically like the original jet dive sound except seven seconds more of the beginning part of the same jet dive sound was found in Supercar and added to the original. Modification to the original sound mainly included softening it up a bit to improve integration with the original (still a bit off as a result of other sounds from Captain Scalet being mixed in on the previous one). It’s by no means a replacement for the original one.

Is it just me or has rapidshare become absolutely useless for non-members lately? I'd love to hear some of these but they keep fobbing me off with error messages about how busy they are...

Yeah I can't download it either. Rapidshare has always given me this problem.
