Default Fab 76

I was delighted by a rather nice surprise when I went home during my lunch hour.

FAB 76 was sitting on the doormat waiting for me. I've only had a chance for a quick skim read. But it looks like another excellent issue.

One question, I couldn't see a credit for the cover artwork. I suspect I know who produced the rather nice image of the spectrum hovercraft, but it would be nice to know for sure.

Are we going to see some behind the scenes articles from the new production of 'Thunderbirds are Go' appearing in future issues?

Yes, mine was on the doormat too - time to renew as well.

A couple of articles I'm especially looking forward to reading are the new interview with photographer Doug Luke, and also the interview with Sarah Bullen! I'm always amazed at the efforts to capture the thoughts of those who might not be at the forefront of people's minds when they think of interview subjects. And they're always pleased to be invited to take part.

Other than that, I did skim the readers letters and saw one from someone asking if John Rankine's (aka Douglas R Mason) novelisation of Into Infinity can be published.

Sadly, as far as I know, the manuscript for this is lost.

Yes my FAB 76 also turned up today - thank you guys. I will look at it properly later. I've got to renew with FAB 77.

The credit is on the contents page running vertical right next to the spine (I had difficulty in finding it too).

I'm curious about the photo on the contents page though with an SPJ at Maxwell Airforce base with the Joe 90 Air Force logo and part of the Zero X Mission control building. Did that really feature in Joe 90 or is it a cobbled together photo?

I had a nice surprise with mine arriving yesterday.

I haven't had time for a proper read but it looks good as always, so thanks anyway to everyone involved.

The image is from the same episode as the aircraft cut out above it... Flight to Atlantica... it was a production still from Rex... the heiljet was added from a cut out lifted from White as Snow...

You can't see it too clearly in the mag, but one of the background aircraft is one of the smaller Fireflash minitures created for Thubderbirds! :-)

Chris T! Thank you again for a super cover :-)
