That's right, some more art from me..... Anyhow I was oddly compelled to draw what is probably the most painful moment in Thunderbirds, that being when the Hood gets his foot crushed in the hydraulics of the Zero X in "Thunderbirds are Go"

Not necessarily pleased with this one compared to some of my other stuff, mainly because of the lighting and views of the original scene being so obscure to me that I had to guess on a good amount of the interior mechanics

Oww that looks painful, and that scene definitely made me cringe when i first saw it.

A good rendition :)

Yeah - that's not bad, Bladez636. I think it's the most pained expression I ever saw on a puppet's face!

I never did understand that scene.
Why are the wings control surfaces angling downwards as this would make the aircraft go down - not up as it should be doing at this point. Then the Hood's foot gets squashed - but why should that jam the controls and make the craft go out of control because it was flying just fine until then?
And then theres the Hood's plan to jump out of a vehicle traveling at Mach 1 plus, at goodness knows what height, something that I found rather silly at a very young age - and now I know the air speed would rip him apart, and thats if he could even drop out.
Maybe I just think too much about this stuff. lol

Well keep in mind that the Hood has survived alot of stuff that would normally kill a person.

If the control surface was on Lifting Body 1, which is ahead of the centre of gravity, deflecting the air downwards would increase the lift, raising the nose

Thanks for posting this picture - you are definitely bringing something different to the Fanderson Forum - "Art Team" and I always like to see people pushing the boundaries.
