What are other users' opinions on this unused end song for Thunderbirds?
I thought it was pretty good with Gary Miller singing it well but it's not a patch on the classic Thunderbirds March.
I've seen a mock-up on YouTube with Flying High over the end credits and IMO the music fits in pretty well.
Of course a different version of the song can be heard at the end of the Ricochet episode.

I'm not a big fan of the song, it just goes to show that Barry Gray didn't always get it right first time.

I don't care for the song much, the first two versions recorded sound too immature for Thunderbirds, the better version is the episode version.

not really a fan

I also think the music used in the first episode ending, the Thunderbird 1 launch music, was better than the that used for the other episodes

Quite like the song but I think it needed a better version - the two I've heard are a bit tinny. It needs impact like the opening theme.

Just watched it again and I tend to think now it didn't really work over those end credits despite what I originally said. Not one of the better songs.

I dont like it, it didnt really work for me, the explosions screwed it up. Compared to all the other songs it really wasnt great. The episode versions better but still prefer " I have somthing to shout about" OoooooOOOO oOoOoOoOoOooooo:)

I really like Flying High as a standalone song. I don't think it would work as title music of any sort.

I don't get it. Isn't that only on the DVD version? I thought the CD track ending theme that was used on the first two Silva Screen releases was the ACTUAL ending theme and they just screwed it up for DVD? It's so terribly obvious that the last few notes of the ending on DVD is edited :S Can anyone shed any light on this?

No, the T1 launch theme is the actual closing titles music for Trapped In The Sky (well...it is on all the 'off air' recordings I have). I prefer that to the 'pilot' arrangement of the Thunderbirds march.

Alright I see, you're right.
