I will make my list given that a few shows I have not seen enough episodes to make a judgement call like Twizzle, Torchy and Four Feather Falls.

Least favorite -

Secret Service
The Protectors
Supercar

I don't hate any of these, its just that they reach the bottom of the list.

Of course The Investigator is certainly the worst of them all!!

Yes, The Investigator pilot was dire!
Personally, i'd have to say Torchy and Twizzle.

Four Feather Fall is good fun ,and Supercar particularly is excellent and probably Gerry's most underrated show.

Probably The Protectors for me, not enough cool vehicles and craft, although to be fair I have not seen any episodes since they were originally shown in 1972.

Dick Spanner is fun, but I find it a bit grating in parts, same can be said of Lavender Castle, very nice artwork and visuals, but it lacks something......

1. Terrahawks. it looked like a poor Japanese copy of Gerry's earlier works.

2. Dick Spanner. i could never, ever get into that programme.

Everything else i love, even Space Precinct and Lavender Castle.

Terrahawks. Never saw The Protectors or Lavender Castle, so I can't judge them.

When I first saw them I would have voted Joe 90 and Secret Service as my least favourite shows. I now find they're not so bad.

I've never seen Dick Spanner, The Investigator or The Protectors to comment. I have seen Terrahawks and Lavender Castle and I like them very much.

These days the GA series I really can't stand is definitely New Captain Scarlet. It sucks.

I suppose it's difficult to watch Twizzle and Torchy without cringing. Love everything else though! Haven't seen enough Space Precinct or The Protectors to judge those.

Agree about Space 1999, my interest in Anderson series ended with UFO i'm afraid ......... and Mike, ..get on with those fire engines! :)

My least favorite show is Terrahawks. Didn't like it at all. As someone pointed out earlier it looked like a cheap Japanese knock off. Bought the soundtrack and it's the least listened to soundtrack I own as well.

The Protectors is just dire and so un-Gerry! Torchy is pretty excrutiating too - despite each intallment running just 15 mins, they feel longer than an episode of Thunderbirds. But then, these series weren't Gerry's creations, so I guess if anything it just goes to prove what a great producer he was when he was given a chance to create his own shows.

My least favorite would be Space 1999. Followed closely by Supercar. I had fond memories of Supercar growing up. My brother and I used to play Supercar...it was a lot of fun. So I found the DVD set cheap on Ebay one day and ordered it. When it arrived, I popped them into the player with great anticipation and unfortunately was very disappointed. It didn't live up to the memories. XL5, Stingray...as good as I remember them. Thunderbirds even better than I remember them. But Supercar just let me down. As far as 1999 goes...everybody said it was the new Star Trek. I forced myself to watch some episodes and it did nothing for me. I gave it every chance and it just didn't catch.

The Protectors because I never saw it. Cool theme tune though.Like the above post I have to add Space:1999. I remember watching it during the 1970s on ITV and got so bored with it I gave it up as a bad job. Unusual for a Gerry Anderson production. The Protectors never really felt like it was made by Gerry Anderson but like I said the theme was the best thing about this effort.

Like a few others here, for me it's Terrahawks. It just didn't seem like a genuine Anderson show. The models were nowhere near as good and it seemed to be aimed at a much younger audience than previously.

Even the Japanese Anderson rip off show, Starfleet, looked better and that is saying something. Second on my list I'm afraid is UFO, but mainly for the poor acting and the lines:

Doctor: "They seem to be humanoid in appearance"

Straker: "You mean, like us?"

See what I mean?

The dialogue has nothing to do with the acting. Badly scripted some of it maybe, but the acting was always superb. The cast always delivered lines well, even the bad ones.
The only thing that bugs about UFO are the fashions, which have dated the show badly.

That is the problem with watching 40 years show's.

Mind you fashion comes and goes, but I was watching some TV from the early 80s last week and my Lord above the clothes and hair!!!!!

Definitely prefer the UFO 80s fashions to the actual 80s fashions !

Least favourite Anderson show ? Can't quite decide between second season Space:1999, Terrahawks and Fireball XL5. Fireball is on the list because I only saw the TV show after reading the TV21 comic strip - and thought it was a big let down after the Mike Noble version.

If you like seventies cars, The Protectors is packed with cool vehicles!

Afraid I'll have to go with Space Precinct. I watched a couple the other week and even Predator and Prey, which has a potentially good script, was spoiled by the genreal cheapness of the produuction.

i've never quite understood why so many fans of Gerry's programmes dislike The Protectors so much. I think it works perfectly in its 30 minute format and it also had fairly high production values.
I think some of the other ITC shows of the 60s and 70s should have used a similar running time as alot of shows have large amounts of padding to fill an hour. Yes Persuaders, The Baron and The Champions i'm looking at you!

I must admit thorughout the 1970s when there was little in the way of Anderson repeats, my memories of the shows were greatly influenced by Mike Nobles art on Fireball, Zero-X and Captain Scarlet. It always amazed me how panels of his artwork stayed in my mind for years. Long after the memories of the episodes had faded.

I didn't see a lot of Jerry Anderson's early stuff. The first Anderson show I saw was XL5, then Supercar, Stiingray and Thunderbirds. I didn't see Captain Scarlett until a few months ago when I rented the DVD's and wasn't all that impessed, though it had it's charms. But my least favorite Anderson show, and I am sorry to some of you, was Space 1999. I thought Anderson lost some when he went to live actors and left the puppets behind. They said that 1999 was supposed to be the new Trek in all the Starlog magazines and things, so I gave it every opportunity. I watched like four episodes, and each episode left me flat. I watch sci fi for the gizmos...thunderbirds was full of them. But even the cool designs of the ships and stuff was not enough to draw me into that show. To me the stories were so lame, and the acting was static.
