Doppelganger in "UFO" ?

Just was wondering how footage from "Doppelganger" can turn up in "UFO" [The Man Who Came Back]. I would have imagined that all footage shot for the former would be controlled by Universal and, unless Gerry called in a favour or two, couldn't turn up in another completely dfifferent production...

It's a good question!

The same could be asked of the 'Sleeping Astronauts' music cue I suppose. I imagine people were hoping Universal wouldn't (or won't) notice. Or indeed care. Which I think might well be the case.....
