I don't know the names of these ships...I haven't seen the movie in ages. But here they are from Journey to the Far Side of the Sun.

They are both really nice vehicles. The command module is called the Phoenix, and the two lifting bodies are called the Dove and Doppelganger.

Thanks. I had no memory of what they were called. I saw this movie as a kid...once. Never saw it again. All I know was it was a cool movie.

Great work as usual kennetzel. I've seen Doppelganger a few times now and it's IMO one of the best science fictions films ever made. It took me a a couple of viewings to understand the meaning of the ending with Patrick Wymark seen as an old man in a wheelchair.
