He also had a Few Minor roles in a couple of James Bond movies.

He will be sadly missed.

I was so surprised when I found out Ray sang "I've Got something to Shout About"... It was as good as any other pop lite from the era!

Sorry to see him gone - He's one of the 'old guard', a familiar face that pops up in old TV now and then (you know, from back when telly was actually good). I was only watching DR WHO - THE RESCUE last night in fact... Very versatile and talented actor. :(

His big 1960's role apart from the Anderson series was in Doomwatch.

Sorry to have to correct you, but Ray Barrett did not appear in Doomwatch.
He is best remembered by 1960s audiences as Peter Thornton in 106 episodes of The Troubleshooters from 1965-1972.
The only person from The Troubleshooters who was in Doomwatch was his 'boss' Geoffrey Keen, who incidently was the voice of the New World Aircraft Corperation chairman.

I was upset to hear that Ray Barrett had died, as he did a lot of the voices for the Supermarionation stuff

Sorry about that I got my programmes muddled up. I actually meant the Troubleshooters.
