Does anyone get the feeling the Origional Captain Scarlet was building up to somthing before it ended.

Colonel White mentions operation sword a few times and theres referances to mankind building a space fleet to return to Mars for a counter attack.

I wonder what they where planning.

Who knows, Wish I did:p
But I find this with a lot of TV shows, It starts off so well, and then you never see what happens in the end, do the goodies win or the baddies?
I guess it must be so the viewers can make up what happens in there head:D

The last few issues of TV Century 21 actually show the Mysterons giving up their War of nerves and abandoning Mars. you can read about it here:

Cheers silent bob :). Its cool the way the comics add some closure to theseries. Its a pity they dont match up cannon wise in some cases.

Canon in the STAR TREK and STAR WARS universe of TV series, ANIMATED TV Series, Movies, Comics/Comic Books/Graphic Novels and Novels is always discussed what basically fits and is accepted...
I guess it is the same in the Anderson universe created CAPTAIN SCARLET, THUNDERBIRDS, SPACE:1999 et.al. universe of Canon in the TV series, ANIMATED TV Series, Movies, Comics/Comic Books/Graphic Novels and Novels too.

With 'Crisis', I took a lot of trouble to keep within the series we saw. There was only one item, that I invented and that was a small locator beacon fitted to the Spectrum helicopter
