Hi All

My name is Dan from Robert Harrop Designs, we have the license to produce Gerry Anderson figurines, and many of you will hopefully remember us from past Fanderson events.

I thought that some of you may be interested in a brief synopsis of what we have been up to and our plans for the rest of the year.

Anyway, here goes: Following the success of the Pewter Scott Tracy (launched at the last Fanderson Event), we have produced a Pewter Lady Penelope. This is a Time Limited Edition, made to order, from orders placed no later than 15th July, 2011.

You can view it on our website, at the following link: http://www.robertharrop.com/item-22327 (http://www.robertharrop.com/item-22327)which also has a link to a YouTube video we have put together as well.

As for the rest of the year, we are currently working on additions to the Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlet ranges, and, judging by some of the requests we had at the last event, many of you will be pleased to know that we are at last introducing Fireball XL5 into the fold (development video available on our YouTube Channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/robertharropcom (http://www.youtube.com/user/robertharropcom?feature=mhee). All these will be available before the end of the year, and more detailed news and images will hopefully be included in the next FAB Magazine.

To keep people up to date; we have had a few delays with Fireflash and Captain Black that we showed at the last event, but these will finally be available in August.

All the best to everybody and to anyone that is interested I'll try and post more development news as and when.

Cheers
Dan

Looking good Dan and Matt, great video clips.

As Tony mentioned we will be down to see you the weekend after next.

Oh and great news on the Fireflash and Captain Black front, that will save us hassling you about not having them yet. ; )

BTW did you still need reference material for some of the projects we spoke about at the Fanderson con.

Hi Dan,

Welcome aboard. Now don't feed those two Tony's too much coffee as Lynn and I will be there on July 3rd for ours!
Looking forward to our first visit to your studios.

Is the Fireflash the same design as the one I received a few months ago?
Looking forward to Capt. Black and Destiny Angel etc.
Even more exciting are the upcoming Fireball XL5 items.
For everyone else on here wanting to sort out my Xmas pressie list...you've guessed it!!

Hi Stephen, thanks for your welcome and I look forward to seeing you at the weekend. To answer your question, the Fireflash will be the same design, but with some added strength to the wing joining the cloud section on the base. Not something you would necessarily notice unless scruntinised side by side. Again, we apologise for the delay in re-launching this piece.

Retroboy, you flater us too much, but rest assured we'll definitely be sober at the weekend...well in the daylight hours anyway!

Regarding Fireball XL5, Matt has managed to squeeze in a Fourth Part to our First Video Blog, including a preview of a Steve Zodiac sculpt, so please take a look on YouTube at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5NnwlSzdmmQ (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5NnwlSzdmmQ)or visit our channel at: http://www.youtube.com/user/robertharropcom?feature=mhee

Happy viewing and let us know what you think.
All the best
Dan

Hi Dan,

The early production work on Steve Zodiac looks pretty impressive as does Destiny Angel. I'm gonna need a bigger shelf!!

See you sunday.

Agree Steve Zodiac is pretty distinctive and you seem to be making a great job of it.

Its looking good for new Gerry Anderson figurines from Robert Harrop in the future.

We saw the Steve Zodiac and Fireball launch rail WiP pieces and the first of the Destiny Angel and Angel Interceptor pieces.

Apparently lots more new Anderson stuff on the cards too.

.....and our thanks to Matt,Dan and all for making it a great open weekend. We had a brilliant couple of hours there this morning (sunday). Going to be very difficult to save all those pennies for what is coming up.
I won't steal Harrop's thunder by naming any more than what is so far common knowledge (Angel Aircraft,Destiny,Capt Black,Fireflash,Fireball on launch ramp and Steve Zodiac). They all look great but I have to single out Steve Zodiac as a corker.
Now if only those lottery numbers would come up!!

Steve

PS nice coffee and cake was had by all and even nicer...Pimms.
