Silent Bob , with regards any comments over at the ET forum , I am a supporter of Fanderson , not bootlegs and never shall be .The team at Fanderson are extremeley dedicated in what they produce for us .They give over staggering amounts of personal time , effort and money for no financial gain whatsoever .It is done out of love for the Gerry Anderson world and for that I am both respectful and greatful to them all . Everyone however is entitled to run their lives as they seem fit so I respect their opinions as I'm sure they respect mine . With regards the new 1999 season 2 cd release , bring it on !

If you have read my posts regarding the Fanderson CDs, you will see that i support the same views as you 100%. The only difference is, i cannot and will not condone the piracy of copyright material.

Back on topic, although regarding DVDs as opposed to CDs.

You would not believe how many copied Fanderson DVDs have appeared on eBay over the last couple of years.

Since I have been part of the Fanderson Sales team I have monitored eBay and actively watched for copied material on behalf of Fanderson. I have logged them all and reported each and every one of them as I found them.

What did eBay do, nothing as non of them 'breached' their listing policies.

So add my consternation to yours Silent Bob as all these slime balls are doing is damaging Fanderson.

I've seen the lists , they are Very extensive , they make shocking reading .

Before the official release of the region 2 version Journey to the Far Side of the Sun, there were numerous copies on eBay. What always made me laugh about them,was that the sellers always claimed it was out of copyright and therefore legal to duplicate it. I wonder what Universal would say about that!

A couple of the sellers that have offered blatant copies of the Space 1999 and UFO documentary DVDs put something similar in their listings, or at least went to the trouble to state that their offerings were not copies of the Fanderson DVDs. Actually they were pretty much on the mark and they were quite truthful, as they were digital copies of the VHS cassettes not copies of the DVDs, the artwork on the covers clearly identifies exactly what they are.
