I came across these two images from TV World from the 1960s and it got me thinking. I cant ever recall seeing an Anderson production on the cover of TV Times. Not even the 'big' shows like Thunderbirds or Space 1999.
Does anyone have any information to the contrary? Or better still some images.

Wow - i hadnt come across those before, or even heard of TV World.

At a guess, i'd think it unlikely they would appear on the cover of TV Times as the majority of GA shows were not networked and shown a different times in different regions. I doubt they'd go to the trouble of producing totally different versions of TV Times in each region? Again - just a guess.

I do have the Radio Times covers from 2000 that coincided with the BBC2 screening of carltons digitally remastered Thunderbirds. There were 4 different covers with different Thunderbirds characters on them to collect.

Technically could we not consider the Look-in covers which included a number of Anderson covers - it was billed as the Junior TV Times at some point

Loving your work - Slient Bob :D

I should have mentioned earlier some of the Look-In images are from the Space 1999 Catacombs website. Apologies to Martin, as i only just realised where some of the images were from.

Thanks for sharing those - I used to get Look-In as a kid, round about mid 80's through to 90's. I hadnt really appreciated that it had run long before i was even born!

Look-In did indeed have a long run for a comic born in the 1970s. The first issue appeared on 9th January 1971 and the final issue was dated 12 March 1994.
Heres a link to the Look-In website.

That's not much of an archive - most of the covers are missing!

I'd love it if someone built a similar site for TV21 - a complete online archive for TV21, the annuals and holiday specials, and spin off lady P and Joe 90.

Is the Look-in one an official site, or a fan made site?

Project 21 is working on that - the first 3 years of TV21 are online, but due to the recent publication of those strips uploads are on hold.

Its a fan made site and archives have to start somewhere. I admit updates aren't as frequent as we would like, but at least people are making the effort for us to see them.

All of Countdown/TV Action and the first 3 years of TV Century 21 are now freely available on two other comic sites. As soon as i am sure they were posted there by the owners of Project 21 i will post the links.
Keep watching this space!

I have the original art to this cover by Analdo Putzo, I'll post it for a comparison when I get home.
